Day 1
Depart Kuala Lumpur
Meals: In-flight meal
The group gathers at Kuala Lumpur International Airport four hours before departure to check in and hand over baggage, ready for a journey through some of Europe's most striking cities.
Day 2
Arrive Milan
Meals: Lunch, dinner
On arrival at Milan's international airport the group heads straight into the heart of the city — the great Duomo Cathedral, La Scala opera house and the Castello Sforzesco. After browsing the elegant Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II you eat at a local restaurant and stay the night in Milan.
Day 3
Milan to Venice and Postojna
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
After breakfast and check-out the group sets off for Venice, a romantic city built on water. A water bus brings you to San Marco Square, the historic centre ringed by centuries-old buildings, where you take in the Basilica San Marco, the Doge's Palace and the Bridge of Sighs. After lunch at a local restaurant the journey continues to Postojna in Slovenia, known for its remarkable underground caves, for dinner and the night.
Day 4
Postojna to Zagreb and Bihac
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
After breakfast and check-out the tour continues to the capital, Zagreb. You explore the historic Kaptol and Gradec quarters, Zagreb Cathedral and the Archbishop's Palace, stopping at Ban Jelacic Square, the old Lotrscak tower and the archaeological and national museums. After lunch the journey continues to the Plitvice Lakes and on to Bihac for dinner and the night.
Day 5
Bihac to Jajce, Travnik and Sarajevo
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
After breakfast and check-out the group heads for the royal town of Jajce, known for the waterfall in the middle of it, then on to the calm of Pliva Lake. A short stop at the village of Turbe takes in the Malaysia Mosque, a symbol of the friendship between the two countries. In Travnik you see the Plava Voda spring before carrying on to Sarajevo, the Bosnian capital, for dinner and the night.
Day 6
Sarajevo
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
After breakfast the day starts at the Spring of the Bosnia River, then traces the war years through the Tunnel of Hope and its museum. After a traditional Bosnian meal you walk the old town of Bascarsija, seeing the Latin Bridge, the Brusa Bezistan and the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque. Dinner and the night in Sarajevo.
Day 7
Sarajevo to Mostar, Blagaj and Neum
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
After breakfast and check-out the group sets off for Mostar, famous for its Old Bridge and the Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque, and walks its old lanes. The journey continues to Blagaj and the Dervish Tekke, a Sufi lodge set against the cliff above the Buna river. After lunch by the water you carry on to the coastal town of Neum for dinner and the night beside the Adriatic.
Day 8
Neum to Dubrovnik, Tivat and Kotor
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
After breakfast and check-out the group heads for Dubrovnik, known for its medieval city walls and as a Game of Thrones filming location, and takes a guided walking tour through the old streets. The journey continues to Tivat for lunch, then to the harbour town of Kotor, before ending in Budva or Shkoder for dinner and the night.
Day 9
Shkoder to Prizren and Skopje
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
After breakfast and check-out the group takes the beautiful road past Lake Skadar on the way to Prizren, where you visit the Sinan Pasha Mosque, a masterpiece of Ottoman architecture. After lunch the journey continues to Skopje, the Macedonian capital, for dinner and the night.
Day 10
Skopje to Ohrid
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
After breakfast and check-out the group takes a walking tour of Skopje — the Stone Bridge, the Old Bazaar, the old railway station, and the historic Mustafa Pasha Mosque and Daut Pasha Hamam. After lunch the journey continues to Ohrid for a city tour taking in the Ali Pasha Mosque, the Zeynel Abedin Pasha Tekke and the Old Bazaar, with views over Lake Ohrid. Dinner and the night in Ohrid.
Day 11
Ohrid to Kalambaka
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
After breakfast and check-out the group moves on to Kalambaka, the small town below Meteora. After lunch at a local restaurant a half-day tour takes in the village of Kastraki and the Varlaam and St Stephen monasteries, two of the landmark houses of Meteora, with stops for the panorama from the Meteora hills. Dinner and the night in Kalambaka.
Day 12
Kalambaka to Athens
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
After breakfast and check-out the group heads for Athens. After lunch a half-day tour passes the neoclassical buildings of the city centre, the Olympic Stadium, the Temple of Zeus and Syntagma Square, Plaka and Monastiraki, with stops for photographs — there is no entry into the sites themselves. Dinner and the night in Athens.
Day 13
Depart Athens
Meals: Breakfast, in-flight meal
After breakfast and check-out the group transfers to Athens International Airport for the flight home to Kuala Lumpur.
Day 14
Arrive Kuala Lumpur
Home sweet home. We hope the memories of this journey stay with you, and that the next one is better still.
